10 Tips for Your Chocolate & Wine Affair

Ten tips for your chocolate and wine affair

Chocolate and wine parties are a great way to show your friends that candy can be grown up too! Use these tips to ensure that your event goes smoothly and that everyone, including you, can enjoy the evening.

  1. Make sure to send out invitations on time whether they’re via snail mail, email or any other form of mail.
  2. Make a shopping list. Or use ours: small party, or large party
  3. Fancy doesn’t mean difficult. Keep food, decorations, and the guest list simple and fun.
  4. Create a playlist to set the mood, whether it’s jazz, soul, rock or any other genre.
  5. Decide what types of wine you would like to offer your guests and choose your bottles (or boxes). Make sure to have a non-alcoholic option as well.
  6. Make sure you have plenty of treats for your chocolate fountain and choose a variety of options so there’s something for everyone.
  7. Prep everything in advance. If any fruit or cake needs to be cut up do it ahead of time, place them in the bowls you’ll be serving them in and cover the bowls with plastic wrap (refrigerate if necessary). This way when it’s party time you can just pull everything out and place it on the table next to your ChocoMaker® chocolate fountain or chocolate melter(s).
  8. Arrange your space. Make sure there is space around the chocolate fountain for people to get close enough to dip their food and enough seating or tables for you guests to enjoy their chocolate dipped treats and wine.
  9. Get the important stuff out of the way but don’t worry too much about a thorough cleaning. No one is going to notice the dust bunnies under the couch and after having that many friends over you’re going to want to clean the next day anyway!
  10. Don’t forget to enjoy yourself! The ChocoMaker® Chocolate Fountain and Fountain Formula Dipping Candy make things easier so that you can sit back, relax and enjoy your chocolate and wine affair.
